Recovery Meets Real Life

The Podcast

Purpose Driven Sobriety, The Podcast is a space where recovery meets real life: raw, honest, grounded, and rooted in spiritual healing without pressure. This podcast exists to help people who are spiritually sick (whether their "symptom" is addiction, fear, resentment, anxiety, control, or exhaustion) recognize that healing is possible and that they are not alone.

Hosted by Kristine Koehn King, a recovered alcoholic who didn't study spiritual sickness but survived it, the podcast doesn't push religion or preach. It speaks recovery language first: the language of honesty, experience, and grace. It introduces God gently, the same way she was introduced to Him through recovery and the AA program.

Listeners will hear candid conversations, lived experience, encouragement, and stories that honor the messy, beautiful process of recovery. The focus is never perfection. It's progress, honesty, and survival.

Share your story

Recovery happens in shared experience. When you speak honestly about your journey, someone else finds the courage to start theirs. If you've lived through spiritual sickness and you're willing to talk about it honestly (the hard parts included), let's have a conversation.
